Childrens Safety is our number one concern.
City Hall and City council members have received multiple complaints concerning children unsafely riding electric scooters. Parents, please keep your children safe! Teach your children about traffic laws and how to safely cross intersections, yield to traffic, no riding double and OBEYING STOP SIGNS. Citizens have been advised by the Jones County Sheriff’s office to take pictures and video of children riding unsafely the Sheriff’s office will follow up with the parents and children.
