A water deposit of $100.00 ($200 for tenants) is required when you apply for service. Utility bills are due the 10th of each month and can be paid at City Hall or in the drop box of the front door.

 The water tower contract has an annual payment of $28,344 for 10 years and drops to $11,200 for 4 years. The contract covers inspections, cleaning, repairs, emergency repairs, painting interior and exterior of the water tower. Current water rates are $31.50 for the first 1,000 gallons and $8.50 for each additional 1,000 gallons. The current rate includes a loan for water mains and a well done in 2010 with an annual payment of approximately $26,000. Also a reserve for future projects are required by the loan. Mains are needed, the City has a number of homes served by service lines with several homes on the ¾” line. Utility bills are due the 10th of the month. Second notices are sent the 15th with penalty included. Shut off notices are posted on doors the 25th and water is shut off the 26th by 1:30 p.m. Customer's shall notify the City Clerk's office for a hearing or to make arrangements for payment.
